About the NSPOH

The Netherlands School of Public & Occupational Health (NSPOH) was created on January 1, 2003 as the result of a merger between the Netherlands School of Public Health (NSPH) and the Netherlands School of Occupational Health (NSOH). Due to our unique structure - in which several faculties of medicine and social medicine at participating universities as well as research departments at Dutch national institutes work closely together - we are in a position to put together experienced teams capable of resolving any type of public health problem.

From knowledge to practical expertise
At the NSPOH, we believe that co-operation and networking are essential for providing public & occupational health services and solutions and therefore welcome working relationships with other public & occupational health and academic institutions. We work together with a large network of contacts from universities, consulting organisations, and institutes in the area of work & health and social insurance.

Mission
Our mission at the NSPOH is to improve the health of the population. We do so by providing a high level of professional and academic training and by helping public health organisations to integrate research and educational activities carried out in different professional and academic settings.
